The project's name is derived from the scientific classification of sharks, a group of plate-gill fish belonging to the Selachimorpha (Selachii) class. The Selachimorpha project navigates the blurred lines between factual and fictional images, symbols, and memes, making the ever-changing belief systems we use to define our world explicit.
