It's a pity that Pity Pets is a full-chain NFT. Unlike JPGs kept on haphazard servers, these aren't vulnerable to being wiped clean at any time. Not at all. The contract contains vector curves that represent Pity Pets.

Everything, including the picture data, is produced and saved permanently on the Avalanche blockchain via the smart contract during mint. Most NFTs keep only metadata and the real asset on an off-chain service, not the actual asset itself. In general, this is a good thing, but there is a chance that the service that has that asset may vanish or that the data may be damaged purposefully. This is extremely unlikely, but it's possible. As long as the Avalanche blockchain remains in existence, your Pity Pet will outlast you, so it's best to accept the notion that your Pity Pet will outlast you.

The Avalanche blockchain's potential is being explored through Pity Pets. Future tools, such as an NFT reconstructor and NFT tweaks, are also in the works. This is conceivable due to the onchain nature of our Pity Pets, which was previously discussed.
