When it comes to interfering with other sentient beings, the Pobpa has little choice but to keep its hands off. Those that support the Pobpa are given unique gifts that aid them in their tasks. Not gods, but creatures with remarkable abilities, the Pobpa. Their jewelry and amulets indicate their magical abilities.

Since the cruel Hemi'ri toppled the Order, the Rubian galaxy has been in chaos for ages. In the eyes of the Hemi'ri, the destruction of planets and solar systems is a matter of life and death. They leave a trail of dust in their wake by meticulously traveling from planet to planet and removing all of their natural resources. To avoid labor camps and famine, whole planets' populations are compelled to evacuate to safe-havens. It is the MANGUS CORPORATION, the most evil of the Hemi'ri companies, that manages the planetary devastation of the Hemi'ri.

A mining camp has been established on the fringes of Cammpu Territory on the planet Tammatu, the newest conquest of the Hemi'ri. The once-beautiful planet, now covered in sand and cacti, is in disarray. The Mangus Corporation has enlisted the help of displaced people from the worlds they've destroyed to work in their mines. And if t⁴hey don't want to die on a decaying planet, they may either work for MANGUS or leave.

Once upon a time, the planet Tammatu was a beautiful, water-filled paradise. The Six Peaks of Tammatu are the last surviving water supply for the island. In the rugged environment, the water has turned a muddy brown. Palmidium, a rare metal found on the planet, is utilized in fuel cells in practically all of the galaxy's propulsion systems. The local Manshus, traitors to the Hemi'ri, and their legion of drones recruited by the Mangus Corporation, manage the semi-underground mining sites. To make a fast profit, foreigners flock to Tammatu and sign two to six-year contracts to mine. Tammatu's night sky is made up of two dazzling yellow moons and two orange suns. In the past, Tammatu was home to more than 600 million people, many of whom fled the inhospitable planet Malbu to seek safety on Tammatu. Inhospitable, remote, and uninhabitable, the Six Peaks are the Manshus' cosmic home. The Manshus are the only inhabitants of the heights. The Peaks of Tammatu are coated with harsh snow and ice that pierce far into the sky away from the planet's background radiation, making Tammatu a largely desert world. Climbers who have tried to ascend the summits have met their demise in the face of violent winds and temperatures as low as -60 F. The effort was a complete failure, and Manshus is safe.

They are fighting for their lives on the desolate planet Tammatu, where the Hemi'ri Corporation and the Mangus Corporation battle for control. And they aren't the only ones; the Rubrian Galaxy's inhabitants aren't the only ones paying attention. The Pobpa Bep is one such group.
